Its not Americans that they do the most damage to, its their brothers and sisters, their communities, and their children. They live in places that live in peace when their element is removed. Thats the sad part...their struggle for power is completely selfish, and while they drastically affect their entire environment, they are the minority. They are the product of the fear caused by others like them...so I guess in that sense you're spot on.
Either way, its a sad situation. I used to get really motivated when I would watch these kind of videos. Now that I have been out of the Marine Corps for almost 4 years, I watch these, and immediately feel the need to hug my children.
Regardless of how you think your life is turning out, regardless of what country you live in, or how bad you think might have it; if you can get online to express it, be thankful. If you can READ, be thankful. If you haven't had to wonder if your parents were going to trade you for a bag of rice to feed your older siblings, be thankful. If you havent had to identify a loved one by rummaging through body parts, be thankful. Because that kind of thing happens more than once in a lifetime for people who live in places controlled by the taliban. So while posting these videos is pretty lame, I still feel a sense of comfort, pride, and joy to know that our allied men and women in uniform are eleminating them in small groups.
Okay, thats $0.04. I'm $0.02 over so I'll quit taking the internet so seriously now.
