What I need to know before hitting this rail

This is the only rail around where I live in litchfield CT thats close by...if any of you live close to here message me if you know of any more. Basically just want to know is this hitt-able and what should i put on it cause its wood. I always see people hitting wooden rails in edits, but on this one it just seems like my edges would catch. All tips are appreciated.

Those posts that hold the rail might want to avoid that rail if you are a dare devil and still wanna do it put some snow on it...not much you can do besides that but i spy in the distance that like swing set jib that rail!! Make an edit and let me know how it goes!

From the picture you posted it looks like your skis can get clipped on the posts.

they will get clipped...but about halfway down you are able to hit it

well first we need more snow ha, like i said...the beams drop about half way down so i wont be able to get the curved part.

50/50 the first half of the rail, that way you don't hit any of the posts, problem solved. Also I don't care what anyone says about hitting wooden features, as long as your edges are fairly rounded off you won't catch.

You'll either clip your sticks on the posts, or the crossbeams will break under your weight. That's the sketchiest rail I've seen in a while

1. Make sure it cant hold your weight
2. Dull your edges like crazy
3. Wait until a really cold day and spray water all over it.
4. Attempt hitting it and take a video
5. You are now a legend, bask in the glory of newschoolers.

it doesnt look that bad. pour some water or pack some snow on it overnight so it freezes, then ball into it with speed. dont lean as far downhill as you normally would on a metal rail because this will slide a lot slower.

not steep enough except for maybe the last curved bit, if you do hit good luck but don't use nice skis cos wood gets lodged inbetween your edges and bases

wood looks like it would break as the posts are not under the handrail

posts are deff in way.

the wood is warped

that wood doesn't look very sturdy. be prepared to go right through it.

when I was 14 I dragged home a small wooden desk to ski on. it was like 1ft wide and 8ft long and when I hit the thing, it bent down all the way like a fucking trampoline and bounced me off. it was some loony toons shit I didn't see it coming
