I like to shoots 720p 60fps. If you think you may want to slow your shots down, this is the way to go. Plus 60p will give a smoother look.

720p and 60fps is better. It looks smoother, makes better slo-mo (if thats what u want), and some computers (macbooks) cant play the full 1080p video.

if you absolutely know you dont want to slow the footage down id say you can shoot 1080/30 but if you even have a thought of wanting to slow it down id saw shoot 720/60, it will give you more options with your footage

Ok I have a GoPro (the Hero 3 Black edition). Should I shoot 720p 120 fps or just save charge and go 720p 60 fps? I'm not going to be doing any slomo or anything.

60 at 720 for sure. I always shoot at this on my 600D. Plus, most people don't watch videos in HD or 1080p, at least not the people I hang around. Use the 60fps to your advantage

leave it at 60. unless you're shooting something that you'll know you'll want slowed way down, 60fps is plenty.

Really depends on what you're exporting for. If you're just going to put it on the web, I'd shoot 60fps 720. There's a lot more you can do with 60 fps than 30.

I always shoot 720@60 for personal use... 720 is just way faster to export and upload.
