When I was little, I had 2 pairs of skis over 7 or 8 years. Then when I got a job (7th Grade) I bought my first pair of twin tips (2008 Dynstar nothing but troubles) for 8th grade season (2010-2011) They were way to big, and kind of sucked so the next year I bought k2 silencers, then won a pair of Atomic Patents.
Then this season I tried out my friends park skis, and compared to my k2's and patents I could shred. I felt a huge difference, I slid rails a little easier, spun way faster, could actually butter... So I bought some 2013 Atomic Punx...
So the last 3 years its been a new pair of skis a year which is stupid. I make bank in the summer though, and still have lots of money, but I hate spending it so often. I'm going to try to keep my Punx for at least 3 years before buying anymore. As for outerwear, In middle school my mom hooked me up with some. (Zero Steeze, but free) and then Freshman year (Last Year) In the same contest I got the skis in, I got hooked up with Nike 6.0 coat, pants, socks, hoodies, tall-tees etc. I bought the k2's in the summer, and won the Patents in november.
This year I decided to get new coat and pants, and will probably get a new setup next year again... I got my Armada coat super super cheap on clearance, but couldn't really find and snowpants to fit the look, and so I look kind of stupid. Oh well.
Tl:DR
I've spent way to much money in the past year or 2 on ski shit.
