unfortunately it's true.. Salt Lake City(2002) - 1,5 billions $ Turin (2006) - 3,6 billions $ Vancouver (2010) - 4 billions $ Sochi (2014) - more than 50 billions $ and larger part was stolen by corruption of Putin's government. a sin and a shame for my country, but it's true.. thats why I call you to ignore this shitshow..

Holy crap! That sounds hectic, I mean 3 surgeries for a broken tibia? Remind me never to get injured in Russia. Definite vibes to EP, glad to hear that it sounds like he will still make a full recovery despite the setbacks.

Yeah Nimbus said there was a few complications with the surgeries on their Facebook page. Maybe because it took so long to get him out of Russia? Absolutely wild either way and I hope he's back to being 100% in no time.

Some of the other skiing pics on Chris' wall from Russia have looked phenomenal. Big snow storms and snipers... Crazy.

So scary to think he probably would have lost his leg/never skied again if his care had been left up to the doctors and medical facility in the town hosting the Olympics in a year... they had better step their fucking game up before the entire world sends their best winter athletes there

It really makes me appreciated the level of healthcare we get in NA. I would say 95% of my second year med class would even know not to do that, and we have spend about 10 hours in the hospital so far. Lower tib fractures have the highest risk of developing compartment syndrome. which probably could of been prevented if he it was promptly, properly splinted. Heal fast! you will have some sweet scars.

EP is one of my favorite skiers and his videos are just filthy....

but I think this shows that to go that big and slay shit you have to be a little bit out of control? of course most of the time he is in total control, but that one time that he goes for it all I think he might leave his comfort zone and I'm going to take that as a lesson of my own.

Lindsay Vonn and Eric Pollard both break their legs in the same month.. proof that no one is invincible and we all have our limits. I wish them both the best and a full recovery. I love going fast and hitting every bank on the mountain :D
