Looking at the LCD Screen?

Hey Newschoolers! So today I was filming some follow shots with my DSLR rig, and was wondering what you guys do when filming. I find it very hard to see the screen when filming, so I kind of just blind fire, and hope that I get everything in frame. Do you guys do the same, or is there something I can do to make this easier? Thanks

Wide angle lenses make guessing less of a guess, but I would just keep practicing. Don't practice filming just the actual thing either. It can create ruined shots from a lack of practice. But yeah, just go practice filming puppies or cars or something, super helpful, you get used to what's in frame. Kind of like hip firing a gun
