What skis should I get for next year?

Ok. I'm REALLY interested in buying ON3P skis. I'm 15, don't have a job yet, but I'm planning on getting one over the summer. I'm looking to make around $1000 - 1500 for the whole summer. I wanted the Filthy Riches at first, because I could occasionally take them out of the park because of their rocker. BUT, I'm in the park for about 90% of the time. Thats why the Jeronomos are after the Filthys and the Prester. Right now I'm on Scott Punisher Jibs. This is my first year with them, and They'll be done by the end of it. I have STH 12 bindings. They have lots of scratches, but other than that they are a great bindings. I'm small and light (5'6" 120lbs) so right now, there great. I love them. I'm just really torn on the fact that I don't know how much I'm going to grow. Now, I know most of you are like " Why the fuck is he making this thread now for next year". The reason for this is because I really need to know how to manage my money. If I end up with new bindings, I'd be selling my current ones and buying either STH 14's or FKS 140's. I also really want the skis to last a long time, the reason for me wanting ON3P's. I'm also clueless about what size to get. Does anybody know what sizes will be offered for the Presters. Maybe Ginko can help me out here. I was thinking 174 for the Filthy Riches, but I know that they ski short because of their rocker. I'd say I do 50-50 rails and jumps, so I want something thats versatile (obviously won't be a problem). I don't know what to get!

Sparknotes: I'm looking for new skis next year, and would love ON3P's. I'm working a summer job, but I want to know if I need new bindings (currently have STH 12's) and I'm 5'6" 120lbs. The reason I'm making this now is so I can make sure I spend my money wisely, and I want to know what I should look into getting. I'm wondering what size ski, which ski (Filthy Rich, Prester, or Jeronomos), and which bindings.

My geuss is the prester will come in a 171 176 and 181 maybe more but pretty much all on3ps come in this sizes (exceptions on 176) i have blue steeles and I ski 50-50 rails jumps on them they are a bit unstable on bigger jumps but if your hitting medium sized jumps you should be fine. If I were you I would go with the 176 filthy riches and as far as bindings go either of the two you chose are great binding I have them both and I am starting to like the driver toes better because I got the fks 140 and they have the plastic toe and I like having a metal more burlie toe but honestly you can't go wrong with either of those

i don't think u can go wrong with the filthy riches in a 176, they would bee a perfect fit for u, and as far as the bindings go, if you are satisfied with the sth, then stay with them

Thanks to both. 10/10 was given. I meant 176, my bad. But anyway, are you guys suggesting I stay with my current sth's or upgrade to the 14 din? And I was thinking that since the filthy riches ski shorter, I could possibly just buy 181's, which would be big at first, but like I said, this will be next year.

i mean if ur 120 pounds u should be fine with the 12s unless ur willing to gain 60+pounds haha, and my friend had the 181s and they aren't huge for me considering i ride a 179 domain which measures to a 183(I'm 5'9 170 pounds)

Hmm ok. Well there's no way I'm gaining 60lbs. I mean I have 168's right now and their perfect. I just feel like I could ski on a 174 right now you know? And then if I got 181's, I would probably want nicer bindings just because I'd be able to ski on them for a long time. I'm supposed to total out at 5'9 so i don't know.

I'm in the same boat as you with the job situation. I would start looking and filling out job applications around spring break. Also try to get side jobs like mowing lawns and stuff on top of your regular job (depending on your hours).

Thanks! Yeah I'm looking at some summer jobs in recreation department for my town. I go to Cape Cod all summer so I just go to the job for like 3 hours and then go to the beach after. I was a CIT for 2 years, so if they don't give me a job, I'm going to be pissed.

Try to pick up some extra shifts too if the beach is crappy. And save every penny. Try to get some sort of notebook to keep track of your income and expenses. Last summer I spent all of my money on eating out and stuff and by the end of the summer I was broke and wondering where the hell my money went

try to get a job at a ski shop. Thats what im doing and even though i get payed like 9 bucks an hour and only primary wax skis You get great deals and a ton of cheap/free stuff and its under the table so its tax free. I am 14 and i love it!

Filthy Riches in a 176 is good. Maybe if they dont work out for you, look into Armada T-halls. Great park ski.

You're probably fine with the sth 12, you're not a big guy it'll be fine.

On the job front, in the winter try to get a job in a ski shop if you can, it's pretty fun and you can get hours that work with your schedule. Also, you aren't too busy to work in the winter but working gets in the way of skiing, I've skied 7 days this winter while working in a shop. But that's going to college full time and working 50+ hours a week.

buddy above was right unless you plan on gaining 60+ pounds this summer your 12's will be fine. I just picked up jmos in a 176 if you pm in a couple weeks ill give ya review ;)

There's no reason to get defensive, a lot of people have helped you out with responses. At your size, I would say 176 filthy. If you grow over 5'9" you'll proba ly want to go 181, but you won't know that until later in the year. As for filthies vs prestors, I would so go for the filthy, because the prestor is ultra stiff (as I've heard) and you would probably have a difficult time flexing them. Also, filthies will be medium stiff so they'll be decently stable on jumps, but they'll be way more playful than prestors and way more versatile as well. The way I see it is that the only reason you would want to prestor over the filthy would be if you were hitting MASSIVE jumps on the regular, if you skied pipe, or if you lived on the east coast and only ski ice.
