Not sure what you were worried about? It's one of the best graphics to date, and definitely the best Jeffery one. Now the J-mo.....Just feels unfinished.

Anybody here from the east coast ride filthies? I've just had two seasons of fun on 161 surface no times and am looking to replace them as they've snapped. I ride in Nova Scotia (east coast of canada) so powder is rare and snow is eithor ice or soft grainular. The early rise in my notimes worked great for me but will the larger rocker of the filthies be too much for these conditions? Will they be considerably heavier than my surface skis? Also, I am deviating the size. I am 17 and essentially done growing at 5' 8'' and 135 pounds and am wondering if I should go 170 or 176. I love to carve, ski off piste, and in the park ride 75% jibs 25% jumps, spinning no more than five (7s occasionally) and nothing larger than 30-35 feet. Also are the filthies measured tip to tip after they're pressed or before? And specifically how far from the tip does the rocker start and how many cm high is the tip from flat. If anybody can answer any of these questions that would be great, just want to get as much of a feel for the skis as I can without actually holding them before I drop $600+
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I was about your same stats when I bought mine. I grew and gained weight but I rode the 181. They hadn't offered a 176 when I got mine, had they I probably would have still been happy about my decision to ride the 181. So since you are not even considering the 181, go with the 176. You are going to want the extra ski especially with how short they ride due to the rocker.

As far as your questions, the profile diagrams on the site are accurate. Weight is a non issue. I am from the EC so pm me if you have any other questions. Also check the reviews section

This is hard to quantify, because the rocker profile is elliptical.. therefore the rocker naturally progresses into a upturned tip and tail rather than having specific points they are bent and flat in them like your previous skis.

Length is measured tip to tail after pressing, so it's a true 171 / 176.

Length is a personal preference.... personally I like a 186 for park and 190+ for pow/mountain, but i'm also 190cm tall. 5'8 is 172 cm, you could go either way, but I think the question to ask is how long you like your skis in general. some people like really long park skis, some people like them a little shorter.


Did I meet you this summer in Brazil, or was that someone else from your area of Nova Scotia?

I think ON3P has a fine selection of skis. Building a ski like this would defeat the purpose of having dedicated tree/charger skis and dedicated BC jump skis.

Could be interesting though. Hm.

ugh too bad you guys have come a long way from those 350- 400 dollar skis only sold on newschoolers and tgr.

billygoat with vaneer shipped = 979

you can see why line had to sell out to k2 they couldnt sell 500 dollar skis and make money.

Not saying the first year skis were bad, but the product quality today is definitely higher than the $400 garage built pairs with wood sidewalls. The veneers are a huge cost just in the extra time and labor, but I couldn't imagine a better looking ski.

I'm 5'8" and I rode the 181s last season. There were a few occasions I thought they were a bit long, but for the most part they were a good length. You could go either way, but since you seem to like longer park skis (most other people my height tend to go with 171ish park skis) you might want the 181.

Okay I don't know about very cheap. But it's all about how much enjoyment you are going to get out of a ski. Value is entirely subjective, I justified veneered Jeffrey's, where some cannot justify used Abangs.

The only changes they made are past the widest point in the tip and tail I believe. The 13/14 has less taper, but should be more ON3Pey in the sense of chunky tips. Everything else is the same. Right?
