Yeah so the only thing I am looking forward to at this point is skiing the ever living fuck out of these girls. I know they are beautiful and that's fun, but nothing is going to feel better than skiing these.

If it makes you feel any better my dad successfully cracked his fibula in an even more pathetic way than your tib. He was doing a kick turn last winter and apparently twisting his leg in ski boots was enough to fracture the thing because he wasn't at the point of bringing around the second leg. I think it was only his second or third day on his BGs too.

FedEx guy pulled through for me in the thunderstorm. What a trooper... Dropped 'em off at the shop to get mounted and all the employees were drooling over them. So pumped to get them on snow tomorrow

So I just got off my Filthy Riches for the first time. My feet were so confused on the first run. It was like getting naked pictures from your hot step-sister. Great, but you have no idea what the fuck is going on. After a while I started to figure it out. I was pleasantly surprised with their nasty carving ability on groomers. Glad I went with the 186s. So pumped to break them in some more

Not that they need a tune by any means, but does anyone know the base and side edge bevels out of the factory? Also what kind of detune does the factory tune consist of?

sorry it took me so long to get pics up, i've been a little busy. some of the marks on the skis, like on the tails, is really just dirt/salt on the skis, not actual marks. its mostly visible on the dark ones. i really love these skis, they rip on absolutely everything, and i can't really describe them. they're on a whole different level from other skis. this is with about 2 weeks of skiing, one week in breck, and about a week on ohio ice. i used them on my friends backyard setup, hit a few trees, rails/jumps, and went over some rocks ;_; . they've held up pretty well for all of that.

We detune from the tips to about 2.5" into the effective edge with a scotch-brite wheel and then run a gummi tip to tail several times.

I had mine mounted dead center last year, loved them. I also skiied about 60/40 park on them.

I did! 181s around 50/50. It's a little awkward on really steep terrain (40+) or more than a few cm's of fresh snow, too much tail for my liking. But really, for what they are meant to do; fucking around on hard snow and in the park, its fantastic.

The J-mo is awesome at recommended. I'd only mount center if it was just your park ski.

I have to say. I had mine mounted recommended and they fucking mobbed. And I loved them in a foot of snow. And this was on the old 96mm waist model. Fantastic everything ski.

more park than all mountain so 70/30 id say. but with these id move more all mountain since the skis ive had in the pass were never really geared towards all mountain.

i have the 181s.

is recommended -2.5?

I'll probably go center or -2. Is there going to be much of a difference? I've only ever had a park ski dead center (K2 Domains)
