^I see what you're saying, but like I said earlier, the product doesn't matter. The Verve drink literally has almost nothing to do with the business, it's just a name and a symbol. It's not like you are actually buying a big case of the drink and then going around and selling it, all you're doing is going around handing it out and spreading the word, trying to get someone else to sign up. THE PRODUCT DOESN'T MATTER AT ALL. you could do the same thing with candy or even stickers.
It doesnt matter what kind of marketing term you want to label this with. but yes you're right, it is legal: its a legal pyramid scheme. I hadn't heard about it at all until some kid i went to HS with called me up and told me about some 'amazing way to make lots of money' and got me on a skype call with 4 members. When I ask others about it it seems like everyone knows someone in it or who got asked to join.
I have watched all the videos you have watched, I know the scripts that you are reading from. I hope you understand that I'm not mad or angry or anything, I'm just trying to inform you and others reading this what this actually is. Other than the money issue, my main problem with this program is that you really manipulate your friends, doing anything you can to get them to sign up and pay up just so you can make a buck, but there's a good chance that they are going to lose money. I don't want to do that to my friends, so I didn't join.
