Cork 3 Help

My local resort is having an air bag tour this weekend I'm wanting to throw down a cork 3 aka my all time favorite trick. Any tips or suggestions? I know the basic rotation, however I wanna do it clean and precise.

i would suggest working on rodeos/underflips. they are easy as shit on those jumps

Cork 3 seems like a weird ass trick. it might be extremely difficult to do onto a bag because bag jumps are usually kicky as fuck. if the jump is mellow enough just send it, landing on a bag you can't hurt yourself.

try cork 3 hand drag first of a roller or something. then once you get used to it there bring it to a real jump and ditch the hand drag

if you can't cork 5 and 7 consistently with confidence your not gonna get the cork 3 rotation right. carving into a wobble 3 might looks sick and feel kinda corkish but unless you are really comfortable with the cork rotation its not gonna look anything like wallisch or delorme's super cork ones.

try kicking your feet out infront of you. it helps get the rotation around more easily

this, learn hand drag 3s as corked as you possibly can, like really slow ones off a big jump. then just go in low and try and get your feet to do roughly the same thing. i learned them like this and just reduced the hand drag bit by bit. i suck at jumps real bad, cork 3 is one of my few tricks so it's not impossible to learn without going 7 -> 5 -> 3

It might be hard to do a cork 3 into an airbag because you pretty much have to carve really hard into the lip to do them and I believe you are not allowed to carve off the lip when hitting the air bag

I can cork 3 but not 7. the rotation in cork 3s are not anything like other corks. Just carve really hard, commit and try to get your feet over your head mid air in the rotation. It's a lot more easy to learn them on a steep jump because then you are almost corked when leaving the kicker!
