I watch ESPN a lot and Sportscenter every morning. I turned on Sportscenter a while back and the "breaking news" was that Dwight Howard re injured his shoulder. Now, although to some, this is big news, they went on and on and on about his fucking shoulder, and I found out about Caleb Moore's passing at the bottom of the screen. Seriously? A guy that puts his life on the line every time he competed should get more respect than that. Dwight does what? Plays for a sucky ass team and plays for money and to sell tickets? Dwight's shoulder news went on for about thirty minutes and then they did a 2 minute segment on Caleb's death.
I just wish they had more respect for him and his family than that.
That being said, my thoughts and prayers go out to him and his family and hope that people will give him respect that he deserves. Maybe people just don't get it like people in the extreme sports industry do. I just know I will be skiing for Caleb this weekend and thinking about his family!
Sled in peace Caleb..forever missed
