Hell yeah, I got my funding need for my experiment

V1.

Test subject #453420 is given a examination of problem solving accuracy and speed. The test sheet is filled with mathematic problems ranging in difulculty. Test subject will be given the same type of test same difulclty levels. Our controlled variable will be a sober run through the test. The manipulated variable is a .7 gram joint. Exactly 10 minutes after smoking the joint the test will start. #453420 will be observed and timed when taking the test. There will be a time limit of 15 minutes to complete the examination. There will be 2 heavy smokers, 3 moderate smokers and 1 tester who rarely smokes cannabis.

V2.

After experiment V1 we will examine the effects of studying under the influence and how that effects test results and we will further test how different doses affect the thinker. Is there a point when the high enhances the ability to think and render problems at a critical level?


Does stoned studying and taking the exam sober cause a worse score than testing stoned after studying stoned?

Those are the few questions trying to be answered in our experiment.

The tester will be observed by one observer who will note observations such as time it takes to complete the test, and aks the tester how they feel about the test before and after and how they feel physically before and after the test.

I received $800 of government taxpayer money that is being spent on this experiment. The lab will be a dorm room.

Your sample size is way too small for this experiment to be worthwhile.

Also, I highly doubt the government gave you any money at all to do this.

My test subject can be numbered what I choose. Its my experiment man. different numbers are different numbers, its cool. . 1,2,3,4 would be easier for sure.

The school gave me a scholarship and they are funding my cannabis madness, whether they know it or not and its federal money.

its actually a scientific fact that the brain cannot recall information that it learned in an inebriated state, aka you can only recall information you learned when drunk while drunk you cannot easily recall this information when sober, learned that in my psychology class

I don't understand what you think you're going to prove by doing this, its either easier or harder to study/take tests while high? What's the point in the end...

I actually think it's a cool experiment relevant to my interests. I've wondered if studying/taking tests high would work, I just don't wanna try it in case I fail miserably.

ya thats called state dependent learning and it helps you remember something if you were high when you remembered it and become high when you attempt to remember it again; but it is not necesary to be high to remember it

yeah i didn't mean it was impossible, just not as easy to remember so taking a test high or studying high isn't nearly as effective as doing both sober
