No one to ski with!!

I would go skiing everyday if I could, but I am basically the only girl and one of the few people that skis from my entire grade, so the problem is that I never have anyone to go skiing with. There is one other girl that i am friends with that skis but she can barely ever go and only has a few passes, where as i have a season pass. On top of that, my parents rarely allow me to go completely by myself.

I want to go as much as possible.. any advice?

make friends with kids at your mountain.
post in your regional forum section.
make friends with skiers outside of your grade.

Just stage chairlift rides. I do it all the time. If you're skiing in the singles line and you're about to get paired up with some gaper, just drop your pole or something to delay yourself one chair. Hopefully the people behind you will be cool

i dont really like skiing with people. Most of my friends suck at skiing and they can't keep up, so I just ski by myself all day err day

Ski with your tunes! i do that when i have no one to ski with, and sometimes skiing solo is good for getting tricks down. and your a girl so it should be pretty easy to find some guys to ski with..older or younger it dont matter

It can't be that hard to find someone at the mountain. look for that kid in the singles line that also appears to be skiing alone, then follow him or her. He or she will be stoked to have a ski buddy.

it could be hard to determine age if its a guy, but it's not a fucking date, you're just ski buds. at least at first...

word definitely go for it. i've been out there multiple times over the last couple years over vacations and what not and it's incredible. i'm from Mass so i think i'm gonna move out there later in life if i don't end up heading somewhere out of the States.

my mindset for my future is pretty general... i just want to pack up and go somewhere i've never been, spend some time there and move on to the next place. utah or colorado is on the list for sure.
