Binding remount question.

So last night I shattered my marker squire heel piece on a switch 3... Just straight up Landed fine and double ejected and shattered one heel piece. Today I went to the local shop and got some griffons to be mounted, the shop guy said he would have to mount them in new holes 1 cm back, will I notice it?

Same problem with me ... They are more breakable but I hadn't the choice.

Find a better shop and ask them to reuse the old holes.

why wouldn't they be able to reuse the old holes? helicoil if you are paranoid, but fuck it  wood glue and you're good to go in my non professional opinion.

Do it yourself. Same holes, wood glue (or slow cure epoxy if you're paranoid) and steel wool. That shit will go nowhere.

Shops can be sketched out by it because of liability reasons. Even though it's totally safe in most cases, one lawsuit could shut down a number of shops.

You'll probably be fine/won't notice. However, you may want to look into buying a new heel piece and repairing it yourself. Last season my Dynastar's busted the same way, found the heel online for $50 and still use them today. Just trying to save you some coin.
