Windells questions +k

I wanted to know if Windells is worth it. I am going this summer and I have been thinking if I made the right choice. I want to know if the food is good, if you learn stuff, and if you have fun.

You'll have a good time, as everyone does, but learning wise, you can do much better. As the countless other Windells v. MHSSC v. Momentum v. COC threads will tell you, you encounter a lot more of the "I'm better than you, I have better gear, etc." You can almost get 2 MHSSC sessions in for the price the price of one Windells session. But the best advice I can give you, is use the searchbar.

Windells has great facilities. No matter what anyone says, I believe they have the best facilities out of any summer ski camp. COC I can't speak for, but Momentum and MHSSC do not compare at all. Also, Momentum's on snow park isn't at the same level of Windells, in my opinion. The only thing I was jealous of at Momentum compared to Windells was their Skullcandy stair set feature. I don't know much about MHSSC's on snow park, but I don't think it is as good as Windells, however it isn't terrible.

MHSSC is the price option. Two sessions there for one at Windells. And you do learn stuff at Windells. What you put in is what you get out. I wouldn't say that the coaches push you too much, it's more of what you want to learn and how determined you are to learn. If you try hard and are really working hard then it will pay off.

Since you are already signed up, don't trip about it. You're going to have an amazing time no matter what. Maybe COC or Momentum or MHSSC is better, but does it matter? You'll still have a blast, trust me. It's at the point where there is not a point to compare them and bug about it. It's like arguing about the academics of MIT vs Harvard vs Standford. They're all great, so it doesn't really matter.

If you don't mind me asking, what session are you going?


And I don't mean to dog on any of the camps. I'm sure they are all great.

Oh word. 3 and 4 are the $$$$ sessions to go to, in my opinion. 5 can still be good, but sometimes the snow has melted too much by that point. You made a good choice ;)

windels isnt worth it for how much you pay but is still a great time. if you're like me who pays for all their shit than it's not worth it. If your parents are then well... fuck it

saga employees have 20 or so years of combined windells employment experience and will all tell you its the best way to spend your summer. the food is pretty good unless youre expecting 5 star dining. the coaches are the shit and the park is all time. youll have a blast.

it really is what you put in is what you get out but then again you could pay half as much and get a timberline summer pass and probably learn more.

Mt hood summer ski camps is the way to go. I have spent three summers there its the tits

1. the chillest coaches out (nolan, maks, and shea flynn)

2. uh ski racers have the nicest asses so spending time at camps tight.

3. Typically are biggest jump is 70+ feet and the tiniest one like 8

4. The cost of 2 sessions at mhssc cost about the same as one session at another camp because there always free drinks and food at mhssc. I say this because ive heard windells charges kids to get drinks and snacks. (no evidence from me though)

5. The two illest down rails on hood for proof just watch some of "Mcslay"s videos

6. the camp kinda lets you do whatever you want

7. real coaching instead of you just riding behind a pro and when you ask them for help they just tell you to pop more

8. Tramp sessions after skiing are sick typically crew of twenty kids snaking the fuck out of eachother for the tramp

9. you get to govy which means you can get the mary J

10. The ski racers asses.

Windells is awesome. Go there. Especially if you're old enough for the adult camp, you get to party n smoke di sensi with the coaches.

Best thing me or anyone can say is just pick one and go. You'll have fun, it doesnt fucking matter. try not to be annoying, make some friends, ski hard, learn some shit. youll like it.
