What not to forget on a ski trip?

I leave for Utah tomorrow and I'm finishing up my packing but always feel like I'm forgetting something. What are things you all make sure you have before you go on a trip?

PA fucking sucks for liquor laws. I moved from IL where you can buy both beer and liquor in a gas station any day of the week until like 3 am to PA where you can't buy alcohol in a gas station, nor can you buy beer and liquor in the same establishment and they all close at something like 9 p.m + closed on Sundays. That shit fucked my world all up.

OP - remember boots, skis, gloves, goggles, under layers, and outerwear. Anything else can be picked up along the way. your ski shit is by far the most important things to remember.

That's def not true about all of Illinois. Maybe in Chicago, but each town has their own ordinances in regarding to their liquor laws.

I could safely say that I have reached my skiing destination, only to realize that I have forgotten a crucial item, many times. This brings back painful memories.

The worst was when I forgotten my boots and had to rent some from a crappy little rental shop, because they were the only shop nearby. Only slightly better than clicking into bindings wearing Sorels.

try to pack your boots, snowpants and jacket in carry on as well. arrange everything so that if your checked baggage is lost you can demo skis and still ski comfortably

just got back from utah, i forgot my tooth brush and comb so i looked like a complete scumbag when i saw my girlfriend on the way back from the airport. don't forget those. on a side note, its dumping so hard the past few days, got like 3 feet of fresh cat sking at powder mtn with the owner

Most things you can buy when you get there if you forget/need it later. The most important ones are really skis and boots. You should also check your boots. Luggage can get lost. If you lose your skis, rent some when you arrive. However, if you lose your boots, welcome to shin hell for the week.

I always pack my ski gear first before my clothing. Start with the essentials (skis, boots, poles, helmet, gogs, etc. I remember last year I went back to Michigan for a rev tour comp and grabbed my sisters identical pair of klints (never knew why she had them, she barley skied on them) instead of mine. Wrong boot size and all that shit. Had to ski rails on pipe skis. It was no bueno.

yeah in Idaho you can only get liquor from a liquor store, which where im at all close at 7 (besides a few which close at 8) on week nights, 9 on friday/saturdays and 5 on sundays

and OP-like this guy said, ski gear is top priority, id much rather have to wear replacement anything besides ski gear on a trip. Pot and good storage container if you do that. ipod charger, toothbrush, sunglasses, extra socks, tampons, dildo, etc

Last year my family went to utah and my sister forgot her coat and snow pants. don't do that.

Also if you're looking to save some money buy any type of hand warmers or small things that you might want to buy there at home because it will be 4x more expensive at a major resort.
