Replying to Pivot bindings
So I feel I know a very suffecient amount about traditional bindings, but since I have never owned a pair of pivot bindings, I would like to gain some knowledge on them before I make a new binding choice for next year. I have done little research so far, but is the whole goal of pivots to create elastic travel in the heelpiece as well as toepiece? Or does it provide a wider range of applied pressures for more specific release values when falling? What are the benefits to traditional bindings? Theres gotta be an extra $100 price tag for a reason. Right?
