Replying to Question for all neuroscience majors and people who know about sleep.
I have noticed this trend lately that if i fall asleep at midnight and go to my 8am class im always really tired and struggle to stay awake. But at the same time, if i go to bed at 1 or 1:30 am, i will get less sleep and wont be nearly as tired in my 8am chem class. Why is this? I feel like it has to do with what sleep cycle im in when i wake up but thats a shot in the dark.
