He was coming in so much faster than anyone else did on that, i feel bad for him, if they let him go again, i feels like he could have had such a sick run, probably clinched second over the kid. he was definitely a threat to Shaun White. The dude is one of the best snowboarders in the world and he's so well rounded its unbelievable.

reminds me of when i used to race way back when, and my best friend's binding malfunctioned right when he started the race. he basically did a kick start right out of his ski and fell through the wand on his face. he still put his ski back on and finished though hahaha

the only time i saw something like this was one comp where a girl dropped in too high with too sharp of an angle and dropped about 4 ft to double eject. That was painful

this. its not an excuse. just think about dropping in switch on skis at that speed and then only use one edge. the slightest mistake will end it all.
