Surface watch life

So my watch lifes arrived today and they are in the shop getting mounted. I got the 2011 model with the red top sheet. The skis are not that stiff like most people say. I'm looking for some reviews and tips before I rive them.

They're skis. Ski them. Same dimensions as the blend if I remember correctly. Different sidecut though. It's an all mountain ski.
