Replying to New to photography
so i bought a camera a few months, but due to a full schedule that left me almost no time, i never got to really use it too much. but it is something that i would like to pursue in the future, particularly because i am lucky enough to travel a lot. my current set up is a canon t2i with a canon 18-55mm lens, but i am looking to add another lens to that. i also want to have some video capabilities so that i can film some skiing, but thats not a major factor, just lenses should be decent for that
where i mostly want to focus on learning how to shoot is landscapes and time-lapses. so what is a good lens that would be good for this (that is still somewhat inexpensive. used is a good option)?
also what is a decent and cheap tripod? i need something that is pretty small and portable, and doesnt need to be the highest quality. it must be able to easily fit in a backpack on daytrips and not take up a lot of room
last, any software's i should pick up? i already have cs6 photoshop and a demo of lightroom (will pick up the full version soon) as well as photostitch
don't hate on me for this. i really want to give it shot, but unfortunately am not in the greatest financial situation, and thus can't afford new expensive equipment, so i know that i will have to sacrifice quality a bit for now
