Kung Fujas All Mountain/Powder mounting point?

Just bought some 2012 Kung Fujas -- I don't ride park but wanted an all mountain mount -- I do powder, trees, off-piste, moguls etc. -- had them mounted traditional per the tech's urging but after reading some comments on here I'm a little worried. What's the best mount for not riding park? Is it worth getting them remounted (haven't even been on them yet)? I could probably make a fuss and get a new pair..

Hey I also have the Kung Fujas I got mine mounted +2 from the traditional mounting point and it works great for all mountain and trees, I would definatley ski them first and then make your decision, as long as your not riding switch or riding park very often you should be fine with a traditional mount.

Don't be a twat.

You bought a ski, and your bindings were mounted properly where you said to put them. 
Go ski them.  You said yourself that you don't ride park, and wanted an all-mountain/powder mount. 

Oh, and I had a pair of Fujas.  189s mounted on the rear line.  They ski all-mountain/powder just fine there.  as long as they're not too soft for you.

That's the thing though, I didn't tell him where to mount them, he recommended that they be mounted there for the type of riding that I do. However, many of the comments in this forum say that for the type of riding I do the best place to mount them is +2 or more. So IMO he gave me shitty advice.

Do you ski switch? For traditional all mountain powder skiing the rear recommended line is going to give you the best combination of float and stability. It is your fault 100% for having no idea where to mount/not doing the necessary research to make an educated decision. IMO he gave you solid advice for how you described yourself in this thread.

The Kung Fuja's is an all-mtn/powder ski, if you're not going to be in the park at all recommended (traditional) is where you want to be mounted. THAT'S K2's RECOMMENDED MOUNTING POSITION, the tech was correct in recommending traditional.

Just because you're an ignorant little scumcunt and didn't research what mounting position you wanted before you bought your skis does not give you the right to harass or take it out on the tech or the shop.

Also, I'm willing to wager that you couldn't tell a difference between skiing the Fuja's mounted 0 or +2.
