Can anyone tell me if the Atomic FFG's are more comparable to the Salomon Z's... or to the STH's? I see it compared to both. It appears from my research that the FFG is a nicer more reliable binding than the Z (12). I just picked up a pair of Line Prophet 90's and am looking for a nice solid reliable binding to ride in. I'm 6' 190lbs and 45 years young and quite athletic and strong and consider myself a highly advanced to moderate expert skier. I like to free ride and cruise and think I'll stay out of the park. I just passed on a set of Z10's cuz I think they will not be the binding I want for the ski. From the sound of it they are pieces of crap. I'm leaning towards the FFG12 but want no regrets. Hate to spend the extra $$ on the FFG14 if I don't need it as it is quite a bit more. ( i know...you get what you pay for right?) I assume the max 12 DIN setting will be more than ample and not spit me out but I want to make sure I don't put a cheap POS on my new hot rods.

I have the ffg team 14, and it's the same as an STH driver 14 with its all metal construction.
