This weekend was the first time I've gotten to ski with my cousin since a trip to Whistler. the guy slays everything on the mountain and has a good amount of back country experience for someone his age. he's helped me develop as a skier so i thought id help him out this year; its his first season skiing park and it was going fantastic until some fuckers started giving him shit. hed had his eye on a saga shutout for a while cuz its a sick jacket so when they were up for 102 he had to grab one.. he wore it this weekend and because he "didn't have enough steez" he was getting called a gaper from the lift and spat on when he skis by? heres this kid that fucking hucks cliffs like a champ, and because he's learning how to grind a rail with a certain jacket on he's a gaper? i saw the NS stickers on your helmets so im hoping you'll read this. stop acting like assholes and respect those that are out for a good time. Spread the stoke, don't destroy it cuz when it comes down to it we were all at that point at one time.. had to get this off my chest, lets see what theabortionator says.
but on a separate note, snowmobile best trick. shits cool

So true. There is nothing worst than the park rats who place them so far above everyone else. If you really are skiing because you love it, then you'd be stoked to see people land things for the first time. This weekend I went skiing with my friends and I got them all to do 3's for the first time and it was literally their first time skiing in 5+ years, because they had been snowboarding. When people act like dicks on the mountain, it really makes the sport seem a lot less attractive. If you are going to be a kid who runs park all day, be a happy person. Not an insecure prick who has to ruin everyone else's day. (If the person is going off the side of the jump to the rail, then you can be a little bit annoyed).

Yesterday I ate total shit when i threw a 3 off a jump that was much bigger than i expected right under the chair. The people's comments contained no negativity just a couple tips and asking if i was ok.Run after that I landed it off the same jump. Made my day.
In my experience the shit talkers aren't usually that good anyway. And related to the OP's story at my home mountain the fastest way down from the park is 2000 vertical feet of steep moguls right under the chair so karma would get them if they sucked besides park. Hope something similar happened to the kids that made fun of your friend. If i saw that happening I would be as obnoxious as possible to those kids when they fell outside of the park.

tell your cousin ill ski with him! i too have a shutout, and when i used to suck i got some hate, but now i can do some tricks so its fine..keep it up! its awesome to hear skiers being cool to each other
