Today I was thinking about why I started skiing because I just last year I switched from snowboarding to skiing. I realized I wanted to switch because I saw the big air X games and slope style and remember I thought it was way cooler than snowboarding.
I started when I was 4, I always liked it but was never really into it. for 8 years the only place that I skied was Silver Star, so when I went on a family trip to Big White, I was shocked that there was so much more to skiing to just Silver Star. When I got home I found a poster of Eric Pollard in my local shop so I googled him and found Nimbus. Eventually I managed to convince my parents to get passes to revy.
2. jk .. skiing is awesome and progressing from groomers towards park seemed like the next logical step for someone that is into more extreme sports/adrenaline filled activities
I started skiing a few years ago. I was always interested In park skiing and watching kids do tricks. So I got some training and now honistly I probably wouldn't ski if it wasn't for park
last day on snow of the season like 2 seasons ago was with an old friend who was jsut getting into park. he taught me how to slide boxes and rails, fs 2 out, and do 1's and switch 1's off jumps.
i spent that whole summer watching videos like the Tom Wallisch Windells edit over and over and over and over. i was hooked.
