Some friends and I are planning to head out to Hood this upcoming summer. I'm aware of how expensive a trip like this will be, so i'm trying to figure out what the cheapest type of pass would be. We'll leave in early June. Does anyone know if they offer a June only pass or something? I know they have a spring one for around $100 but we'll be there too late for that. I would like to avoid buying a day ticket for 2 weeks straight if thats possible. If anyone that's gone to Hood in the past could help me out here, that'd be dope. Thanks!
Only way to get a cheap/free pass is working for the resort which doing for a two week trip wouldn't happen. 14 day tickets is almost 750 bucks so you're almost to a full pass you might as well stay for 3-4 weeks and buy a pass. The other option is come earlier, timberline may park is by far the best it is all spring/summer and 100 bucks is a steal so I'd say just go earlier.
Keep in mind June is a big, big wildcard month for weather in the Pacific Northwest. You'll probably only ski like 2 days so it won't be too expensive.
Well I was speaking in jest, but then again, it could be sunny for days and days; it could also be socked in for weeks. There could be massive snow, pouring rains, blistering sun. There could be all of that packed in to an hour. June is volatile as fuck. It usually isn't "summer" by any stretch.
