So what is an octograb, cause last night they were saying it's one hand behind the bindings and one hand in front, but now it's both hands in front. Which is it?
Octograb is basically grabbing the tail of one ski with the opposite hand and the nose of the other ski with your other hand (ex. right hand to left nose and left hand to right tail)
You grab with your left hand in front of your boot, on the outside of the left ski, and with your right hand you grab the inside of your right tail, need some sick flexibility for it though imo.
take off your nosebuttertriple-goggles, his run wasn't great. rails were on point but his landings weren't very solid and he knuckled the last jump compared to bobby and nick who are taking it deep as fuck and stomping like theres no tomorrow.
Meh, I don't think so. He came up short on just about every jump and while his rail tricks were tech as shit, he looked a little off balance on some of them. If he can take his jumps deeper I think he'll bump up a few positions.
Not sure if it's been said, but Mike Douglas needs to stop calling for triples. I really don't think anyone will do one and all he's doing is hyping it up for a letdown.
for real...i dont understand goeppers score! 3 times the same run, no showing of stepping it up, compared to henrik who went ubernuts on the toprail...oh and taking it deep is of course nice, BUT NOT WHEN THEY OPEN UP SO EARLY AND LET GO OF THE GRAB! i think henrik got robbed!
