i didn't think he said anything unnecessary really, i mean it was a little unusual to talk about himself like that but i would be stoked too, did you not see how massive he went? i think it'd be hard to say the right thing in an interview like that anyway, and he is still young.

Seemed a little cocky but he had to be so stoked as hell to land that. The thing that bothered me is that he didn't acknowledge any of the other runs. Every other winning athlete in skiing and snowboarding most always comments on how well the rest of the field rode, and it just kinda became the polite-standard in interviews nowadays.

After I heard "tonight is my night", I can't lie and say I didn't want to punch him in the face.
Then that interview was really cocky. He basically said " Yeah well tonight I had the best tricks and my grabs were all really good so I mean how can you not give that 1st place".

I mean yeah, he's obviously stoked on his run, and most of what he said was true, but ugh... His delivery came off as some of the douchiest shit I've heard in a while.
