I am a big fan of the music by PL, but when is this guy going to release some new music? Its been a long ayuz time since he has released anything.

He's currently working on a new album that has zero samples from other sources in it - ie he's playing any and all instrumentation. Apparently his house is just full of every sort of instrument you could imagine. No idea when it will be out, but I'm looking forward to it.

Yeah, he's writing an entire soul album, producing it so it sounds like its actually from the 70s (or whenever), having studio musicians play all the parts, then pressing the whole thing to vinyl and sampling off that. Kind of a long process but... Fucking sick. Nobody has ever done this before.

He IS still using samples, he's just making his own samples.

He better hurry the fuck up. I have also noticed that many of the artists signed under Pretty Lights Music havent made shit for a while either.

I'm sorry but really? He's basically making two albums in order to make one album.

Get a grip on how fast actual musicians write and record stuff. Rihanna can pump out a song every month because these two doods in norway do all the work.
