Snowboard big air was pretty awesome last night to see how triples were being thrown like they were nothing by the end.
However, to me, pretty much all the tricks (apart from Haldor's), looked the same - I know they were mixing up switch, backside, frontside etc - but I just can't tell the difference with snowboarding.
After a while the triples just lost their impact for me - although the last few jumps were cool have Torstein and McMorris landing the tricks they were trying to get (I only knew they were different tricks however due to the commentators).
Skiing Big Air should be much more interesting to watch - at least it's easy to see when someone is dropping switch, you've got more grab variation possibilities etc.
In short, I can't fucking wait to see Vincent Gagnier throw that sw screaming seamen genie grab 9 he was doing at London Freeze - up close that shit looks fucking amazing.
Just hope we get to see the whole comp instead of it cutting to a snowboard comp all the time.
Also - why the fuck does the livestream on ESPN player have to go to a holding screen when there's adverts on the normal TV program? The cameras are still filming the runs - just keep the feed going!
