Sandbech's face at the end was priceless, though I do feel sorry for him. For those of you who didn't watch the snowboard finals: Sandbech was in a comfortable lead with a 91 when time ran out. Every rider was given one extra run but Sandbech decided to sit the last one out. Then Horgmo landed a switch backside triple cork (I think it was, apparently it's never been done in a comp before) and took first place with a 44+50=94. The next rider was McMorris who landed another triple to get second place with a score of 46+48=94.
Bummer, sit one out with a smile on your lips only to get bumped from first to third in the OT run...
