A couple weeks ago I was riding at Winter Park and went down some bumpy fuckin' run there. A ways down this run I spotted some hut that was on top of a rock that was probably like 10-20 feet high. There was a rope attached to the rock leading to the hut. Seems legit I thought. I was with a buddy and I was like we should climb into this hut. He was like nah. I tried anyway. I climb my way up the rope with old ski boots on so what little tread they may have had was long gone. I almost make it to the hut when I realize that it will be a bitch to get out of this hut once and if I get in it. I proceed to climb back down when my foot slips. I hold on the rope with my left arm but the weight my body pulls my arm out of socket. I fall, directly onto my homie who is watching me below. He is fazed but not seriously injured. My arm is stuck out of socket at about a ninety degree angle. It won't go down, it is stuck. Homie attempts to put it back into socket. Fails. Ski patrol comes and the sled ride of pain and shame commences.
Any good embarrassing injury stories?
