yeah, same.
I hear this from so many people who claim themselves as "dog people" --that they don't like cats because "cats keep to themselves and are independent. you can't socialize with them or play with them and they don't follow orders on command."
But I don't see where these people are coming from because my cats are extremely social, greet you when you come home- they follow direction such as "come here" and "no"-- I have one that can do a few different tricks. You can play with them anytime and they love it.
Everyone who has come to my house says "I don't like cats usually but I like your cats." And although I know my cats are super special and obviously the most awesome, I typically just say to these people "you know more cats are awesome, right?" I think some dog people just go by what they hear, sometimes having never owned a cat.
Hahaha I had an ex whose roommate had one of these. What a piece of shit that cat was. SUCH A DICK! It would lounge in the people-heavy areas and rub on you as if it was looking for attention then when you'd go to pet it, it would attack you. If you left your bedroom door open even just a crack, he would go into your room and piss on the bed within seconds too.
What a motherfucker that cat was. It literally looked for ways to be a groundbreaking douchebag cat 24/7. Never met an animal like that in my life.
