Bittorrent/suprnova.org/download questions...

yo. check it. i know there are lots of you out there who use Bittorrent, etc. and suprnova.org to downlooad all sorts of goodies. i have a few questions.

first: bittorrent. does it leave a sort of open channel to your computer if you download/install it? has anybody had any problems with it?

second: does anybody have any good suggestions as to where i can begin downloading albums... free of cost? i've spent all my money on cd's and now i need to find less legal ways to get my fix.

2. i mostly use suprnova but punktorrents isent to bad either

2.5. download the bittornado client, downloads go much quicker

archive.org has a lot of great bands on there, though the might not be what youre looking for, a lot of Phish, Yonder Mt., String Cheese and all sorts of good stuff

Azureus is the fastest app for Macs. As for open ports - you have to open port 6881 if you want to download your torrents at top speed. Its like twice as slow with the port closed. I dont know if it is the same ports for the other BT appz
