SO. I brought some shots into FCPX wanting to play with one clip, ended up starting and getting pretty far on an edit. I don't know if I'm being too critical or if this terrible, but I want to know:

-does the song go with the skiing well or absolutely not at all?
-is the beginning entirely too long or is it even actually funny?
-what you think of it overall so far

KEEP IN MIND
-quality is garbage because I was too lazy to compress so just made it a smaller file
-I haven't done any color stuff (may make it warmer/unsaturate a little with a touch of vignette)
-the second kid will close the edit with some other people in between

I didnt like the beginning intro thing at all, and I wasn't a fan of the song either. Your shots really weren't that bad, pretty good actually. But I'm not gonna tell you whether you should stop there or restart, dont let what some random person on ns says dictate what you do. I feel like people always ask for advice here and then they act like whatever anyone says must be true so they change it. Keep in mind what YOU like, critiques can help you point out SOME flaws but at the end of the day you shouldn't be editing with a cookie cutter that other people made for you.

Beginning was funny but to long. Make it at least half the length. Also try to get original with the song. I know that its hard but when i see an edit with a song that has been used allot i am immediately turned away. The riding was verry good. And the edit was not bad... but it lacked creativity in my opinion. But the shots were nice. some a little over exposed but not bad. Overal good work

that last trick was money. i dunno i kinda like the intro maybe just cut like a 1/3 of it out it was a little long. and i liked the song too.

-def too long of an intro, id keep it to around 30 seconds if you can. i liked the "i said dont go!" haha
-i didnt mind the song choice
-overall youve got the right idea and feel, just tweak it a little and youre golden
