personally i do not like fisheye photos (with exceptions) but you can make it work. a couple things to try, take the photo from a different angle, one which you can see the feature that the skater is hitting, you currently have someone suspended in mid air, we can't tell what they're doing. often ski, skateboard, roller blade etc photos will have the take off/ landing of a feature, it allows the viewer to understand what is going on in the photo. i like how you have him positioned infront of the blank sky, it's nice because they stand out, rather than being placed infront of trees or something, where he would blend in. and lastly it's just underexposed.
