the snowboard street set up is insane. went to check it out yesterday as my brother is doing the usasa rail jam on it, an i think some kids are going to get pumped. they have a bridge across a snow gap with a flat rail to close out on the left to a down stair set, the right side is a long flat to down on the other side of the stairs, then they have a 30ft high wall on the right which has a quarter pipe underneath the rail set up. you wouldn't want to fall off the flat rail or you are going to fall hard. should be interesting to see how people go riding it. slope course looks prime though and the big air is pretty sick, it will probably have people complaining like usual but i think shit will go down on it

Justin Dorey to have shoulder surgery back in Canada this Thursday :(

"This past weekend, while training in Breckenridge, Colo., Dorey says his shoulder popped out of its socket again, this time more severely -- it did damage to his joint, severed some tendons, and tore his rotator cuff. He is scheduled to undergo surgery on his shoulder this Thursday in Canada."

 "This would have been my eighth X Games and I was really excited to compete this week," Dorey said. "Now, unfortunately, I'll be heading back to Canada to get surgery and I'll have to watch the X Games on TV." Justin Dorey.

Has anyone seen any ski throughs of the course as a whole? I haven't managed to find any of someone riding through the course.

I don't know about anybody else, but its seems to me that the grooming of the landings is not very good, the edges of where the groomer is going over is leaving a small ridge, at least that is what I have seen

Wow, congrats to all! The USA and French dominate. Way to go Simon with no poles, and Tucker's first competition back from knee surgery. Too bad for Gus and especially Tanner :(

Can someone explain Pipe Judging to me?
I mean it used to be quite clear but i've watched qualis (twice now cos i'm ill and some of it makes no sense). Why did Marg only get a 68.00? I mean i can see he landed too high and sketched a bit on his dub but tons of the runs above him had just as bad issues, Blunck backseated a lot, Rolland also landed on the 'coping' etc (no hate on them). Margetts had as tech a run as the top top guys and didn't fall just landed a bit sketch?
Also it doesn't seem to matter any more how many hits you get? I mean that's why Tanner always beat Simon but tons of guys only get 5 hits now?
