I fail to see how funnelling $130,000,000 into a town of 1,500 over only 6 years is considered an insignificant amount of support.

Alright, fair, I will admit there are problems with the power imbalance in reserve environments, but I still stand on everything else. I am also sure that this amount varies and lower amounts are seen.

Because the money doesn't go anywhere. They don't need money, they need hospitals, water filtration plants, and actual functioning schools. You know the things that the rest of Canada has. I'm telling ya, I've been to those northern reserves all the time and they don't even have the basics. It's a third world up there.

PS which Canadians came peacefully? The French who had to kill to first colonize mont royal? The English and their residential camps, backward treaties, and disease introduction? You don't get it, Canada was never colonized peacefully.... Shit even the western expansion was a murderfest.

No your right about the holocost, but you know what at least they have recognition. Memorials, burial sites, national holidays. A respect for the horrors that went on..... here we just have blatant racism, and ignorance. For every drunk native you see in the street, there are 5 up north making sure your car runs, or that you have enough steel so that you can have a house, and more.
