Fastest speed recorded in a race, 100.6mph during the Wengen downhill in Switzerland by Johan Clarey (FRA). Previous record was set in 2005 by Stefan Thanei (ITA) at 98mph, and was broken four times during the weekend.
I'm not sure they have all speeds ever reached recorded, but I guess this is a pretty good achievement anyway. Would be fun to try...lol
would probably want a big trail all to your self for them. dont think weaving in between other skiers with a 45m turning radius would work out too well. but i agree, i raced when i was young, but stopped before i got to do any super g or downhill. always have wanted to try some out.
