Do the schizo bindings move back and forward at certain intervals (such as -1,-2, -3? Or can you move them by the exact single millimetre?

You just turn a screw...so yeah you can do it by the mm.

The screwset is a continous threas and so can be adjusted to the millimeter. You will barely notice the differences between millimeters, centimeters yes. Whether its the right binding for you is a better question and would it just be better to get a regular alpine binding and mount it between the points of travel of a schizo. Whats the ski you're looking to put it on and what percentages of riding park/pow/etc are you riding?

yeah you should enjoy them on that ski. I've got them on my blends. just make sure the tech mounting them is familiar with mounting schizos. if you're wanting to go from centre to -6 on them make sure the tech drills for -3 back from centre. some dont like the schizo as the connection between heel and toe isnt the strongest and as theyre just connected by cable some feel this affects the release values.

It's a thick metal cable though, I imagin it's a very strong connection, the release problems are from improper adjustment and mounting in my opinion considering they are a decently complicated binding

Is there a certain part on the track that the binding is strongest on? Does it drive the ski differently if it is all the way back on the track as opposed to the centre or all the way forward

i think the problems are with the short thread on the connecting screw and it coming loose. I've not noticed it riding weirdly at all. i think the screws which go into the ski are well placed enough that there is little play in the plastic track even under pressure of turns are speed.
All times are Eastern (-5)
