Hit the front of my line afterbangs on a rail. they split right open. tried just epoxy. no luck they just re split. then i drilled holes and used zip ties. it actually looks like it will hold up really well. tomorrow sure to let you all know tomorrow sure to let you all know tomorrow after i ski on them.
You might want to seal those holes with something, because if it's raw wood there you're gonna have some issues with water intrusion. I can't tell if you did or not.
how the fuck did you manage to do that? rivets probably wouldnt work, but a plate would. maybe since you already drilled those holes, get a metal plate on top and use the same holes as the zip ties to bolt it on, and put two holes on the other part to connect it.
Mine afterbangs split in the same way, sent them to the importer and got them like 3 weeks later with some screws and glue. Pretty much one season later other one split aswell.
Mine split after twenty days skiing (177 2012-2013) an I just threw a bolt thru the middle of the split didn't seal it so its still a in two prices at the en but it holds up great but I only use them half the time
