How to Grind on Skis Video

Hey Guys, what do you think of this video on how to grind on skis. Is it helpful? Any criticism that is helpful is appreciated. I noticed that there is a pretty big shortage of good trick tip videos. We're trying to fill that void.

Nevermind, I saw the thread before you posted that first comment. Anyway, probably the best video ive seen on sliding rails, but your pole is kind of distracting.

I thought it was really good, but you had a lot of talking uninterrupted by clips of you sliding the rail. I feel like you should have the audio playing over while you show some slow mo clips that highlight the points you're making.

Pretty good. I like how hes not a scrub teaching scrubs to ski. He actuallly is pretty good.

For future videos, we'll make sure to get the poles out of the way! We tried to cover as much as possible on how to grind on skis and give some good tips. Hopefully it helps people out. That's what we're hoping for!

Any and all How-To videos are super appreciated. Most of the crap out there is generally pretty shitty, and the good stuff is locked away behind pay-to-learn barriers. Keep it up!

That was awesome! Super informative and covered all the bases. I think someone above said it, but slow mo shots of you sliding the rail while you're talking would have to be the only thing missing! I also think your Tips to Improve Skiing on your site are super helpful and go beyond just telling the steps of how to land a trick, but strategies to really get better as a skier. Keep making them!

Thanks for the support! We will definitely continue to make tip videos so look for more and we'll put up some more tips to improve skiing. All of this constructive criticism is really appreciated and helpful and we're taking it all in to improve future videos.

Really great! Thanks for putting the time into this! Two things:

1) I'd recommend that people who are trying it for the first time wear a helmet. If you are instructing, this'd be a good idea for your to share.

2) Cut out the "try some variations bit" - those are completely different manouvers that require different skills.

Pretty good. How about some clips of you sliding on an easy box with voice dubbed over the top. Also throw in some slow mo.
