How to Clean Smith Goggle Lens

Hey guys I started noticing that every time I used my "goggle lens cleaner" in my Spyder coat my goggles would get smudged.

Now I realize that these are permanent smudges.

I have googled how to clean goggle lens but have come up with nothing.

Nobody seems to know exactly how to clean goggles, not even the manufacturers of the goggles.

So my question is: how should I clean my goggle lens? I've just been fogging them up with my breath but I'd like to get some spots off.

(*The only thing I know is NOT to use paper products or non-water liquids)

Never rub the inside of a lens if it is wet. This will take of the anti-fog coating and cause the permanent smudge. If the inside is wet make sure to only dab lightly with the lens cloth.

The lens cleaner rag in your coat is probably dirty.

I have been told to make sure your hands are clean, use a bit of dish soap, and gently rub it all over the lense with your bare fingered, then wash off with water

i usually just pee on mine, seems to do the trick.

As mentioned above - Don't ever clean the inside of the lens if it's wet. Did this once to my crowbars and ruined the lens. Let it dry, then use microfiber cloth that comes with your goggles. As for the outside, use the same microfiber cloth, but in this case, you can use it if the surface is wet, it shouldn't affect the coating.
