So after the Powder awards and such I got to thinking why don't we have an NS film festival (all online of course). I think it'd be sick. I was thinking all entries are less than ten minutes (so it's kind of a short film fest). We could premiere each film one at time maybe one a day. After they were premiered they would of course be permanently posted for people to watch. Then maybe have a few awards like Best picture, Best trick, Best vibes...etc. Maybe it's a bad idea, but hey I though I'd just throw it out there!
Sounds like quite a good idea but a few things would have to be considered. If you had them premiering one per day, how many would you allow? It might take ages to show them all.
I think this could work but only in a certain format. For example, you could have a list of things which have to be shown, such as:
• three kickers
• five features (e.g. rails/boxes/jibs)
• a cliff (or a large air for people who don't have any cliffs near them)
• a single line of max. 1 minute (powder/park)
10 minutes doesn't seem like long, but don't forget that not many people on here are professionals. I think 5 minutes would be more appropriate!
exactly. like instead of having a bunch of NS not really into M&A only vote for DTF and Heath, DTF, Heath and other orange names could judge which would gives much more deserving awards.
i like this, then judges just go through and watch. there shouldnt be to many restrictions on what has to be in it. half of an edit is the artistic take on the situation by the filmer.
somebody, not necissarily OP, should take this project on and get it going. this is a sick idea and im sure there would be a lot of people willing to participate
