needs reworking... reviews need to be editable and rateable... I'm sure plenty more people on this site would write great reviews about their stuff if they thought people were reading/benefiting from the information. I've owned and skied a bunch of sticks and would happily review them but it doesn't seem worth it at the moment. I know that sounds whiney and entitled but I think the site could be a really useful resource and at the moment it isn't quite there.

Believe me, we're 100% with you. We have a great plan for how to fix this, and its coming up very soon in the development cycle.

Great news! one feature i think is especially important is making reviews editable. I feel like I can write a review about a ski after say a month on it, but if it then turns out to have durability issues I want to be able to include that in my review later!

without a doubt the review section needs work. its too out of the way. id suggest something like you did with the picture section or M&A that gave it a ton more traffic. maybe have like a "review of the week" feature that gives a lot of karma and its on the splash page in the top right corner. but definitely needs work.

I'd love for this to happen.

I made a thread awhile back regarding it, and wouldn't mind seeing some stuff happen.

Better system, more traffic and reviews.

The review system is super duper old. I think we built that in like 2005/2006 - and the internet was a very different place then. :) So were we!

I bitched about it in the mega forum idea thread about the review section. Will we be seeing updates to it in the future? Maybe eliminate the 'gear' tab that gives us accesss to GT, S/T, Reviews, and Subscribe to Powder. Two of those forums, GT, and S/T we already have access to, and the review section would maybe see more traffic if the button was in with the rest of the forums. Yeah? No?

We've started planning on a totally revamped gear/review system to be done over the summer. Expect a discussion on this coming soon similar to the Forum thread
