I prefer it this way, some of those so called suites are very cramped, and it's annoying if you are flying with a friend. They only thing not so good about Swiss is their ground service, it's lacking outside of Switzerland, the service is friendly but very basic and often you have to resort to Lufthansa which is much better so a relief actually.
But people nowadays seem to prefer flashyness.
Look at the Emirates first class: gaudy as hell, fake gold, very busy and with yucky styling.
Seriously what's with all the gold?
Whilst the newest Swiss F looks calm, relaxing, modern and very much Danish design with the real wood.
