It seems like every time I check gear talk there are a few new threads about people wanting to buy domains. Well maybe this review will help.
I bought my 2011-2012 domains last march for my birthday. Mounted center with marker griffons. I'm 5'3 and got the 169, which is actually 172ish. I ride mostly jumps and rails in mn 4 days a week. But I usually make 3 or 4 trips out west each year. The domains handle very well on my daily skiing, perfect playfulness on rails and tranny, yet still feel confident on larger jumps. Even though they are "playful skis" they aren't going to noodle out on big jumps. They are also extremely fun in powder. Winter break was spent in winter park Colorado. We received 8" of fresh pow and my domains handle just aswell for me as my dads armada jj's for him! If you are looking for a durable fun ski that can do everything. I HIGHLY RECOMEND THE DOMAIN! if you have any other questions post below. Thanks, jack
I agree, they are a great ski. When you want to play around in the park and do stupid shit, the Domains are perfect. If you want to get serious and try hard shit on jumps and rails, the Domains are perfect. If you want to get out of the park and take a few cliff laps, the Domains are perfect. The best ski I've ever had.
I'm 5'11 and ride armada el reys 164 and looking at getting domains so what size? I should say I am a beginner as far as the park goes and I am just beginning to do rails but I'm looking to do more park.
