Hell bents last year?

Word on the street is this is the last year there making hell bents. Any one know why?

It seems as if most brands and consumers are moving away from the big softer flexing ski designs. I heard maybe the the new nightmahre (Andy Mahre pro model) will be replacing the hellbent in a way. Also I've heard K2 want the pettitor to be the widest ski in their line up. If you want information on next years gear take a look at the 2013-2014 Gear thread.
