I am making more rails for my back yard park and I wanted to make a down flat down rail but I am unsure of the angles that I should put the down to the flat at. I don't want it to be too mellow or too steep. I was thinking around a 30 degree angle (from the down to the flat), would this be good? I need your help ns, pronto!
Personal preference I would think, would 30˚ be the max anyone? If you want a challenge to hit make it steep and if you want to trick it easier go for mellow angles
If its just for your backyard make it more mellow. It will be easier and more fun to learn new tricks. Also don't make each section any smaller than 6ft. if you can. IMO 8ft down-6ft flat-8ft down is prime.
The one at our hill is about 25 degrees i believe and the box we have is 20 degrees both are pretty smooth. But personally i wouldnt go moe than 25 degrees. we just got a street rail thats 45 degrees and its insane, so steep
